Karen is an Associate in the Phoenix office specializing in banking and creditors' rights. She also has experience in employment law, probate matters, and complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts.
During law school, Karen was a member of the Business and Tax Law Association, the Women's Bar Association, and the Latin American Law Student Association. She also participated in the Tax Clinic, where she represented low-income taxpayers in resolving federal and state tax controversies, including in the United States Tax Court.
Since graduating, she has gained additional litigation and appellate experience, including matters before the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts Appeals.
